A case has been registered against those opposing the FIR against BJP leader former IAS officer OP Chaudhary. Bharatiya Janata Party leaders from Raigad had protested over the issue. There was a ruckus on the road, while raising slogans against the administration, the effigy was also burnt.

Police has registered an FIR against 17 BJP leaders and OP supporters who organized this protest. A case has been registered at Kotwali police station in Raigad. On the complaint of Naib Tehsildar named Vidya Rao Bhushan, a case has been registered against the BJP leaders for violating Section 144 Epidemic Act, Section 188, for creating ruckus on public roads and obstructing the way under Section 341.

Akash Sharma, Praveen Dwivedi, Girdhar Gupta, Guspal Bhalla, Sadanand Rathia, Suraj Sharma, Vivek Ranjan, Shyam Bhojwani, Shrikant Dilip, Dilraj, Rajendra Dewan, Anshu Tuteja, Arun Kotare, Arun Tiwari, Sheela Tiwari and Poonam Solanki have been booked. Police is searching.

BJP leaders took out a rally in Raigad protesting the FIR lodged against OP Chaudhary by the police of Korba district. There was tremendous sloganeering while burning the effigy. During the tremendous uproar that lasted for about two hours, BJP leaders had a scuffle with the police, after which the district administration has taken action against them.

A Congress leader from Korba itself has filed an FIR against Chaudhary, calling it fake and calling it a conspiracy to tarnish the image in the police. BJP is opposing this matter on social media, Chaudhary said that he is ready to go to jail but he will continue to raise public voice in politics.
