A speeding Creta vehicle rammed the mechanic of the bus in Haryana’s Rewari city on Tuesday. The mechanic, who was seriously injured in the accident, was admitted to the trauma center, where he was declared brought dead due to head injury. Rampura police station has started action by registering a case.

According to the information received, Satish (40), a resident of village Motla Khurd in Rewari district, has a shop to repair buses on Narnaul Road in the city. On Tuesday, he reached Rewari by boarding a bus with his brother-in-law Banshilal, a resident of Mahendragarh district. Both were going to open the shop on foot.

On the way, a speeding Creta vehicle coming from Rewari side hit Satish from behind. In the accident, the bloody Satish fell on the road. For a moment the driver stopped his Creta vehicle, but instead of coming near, he ran away with his car.

Banshilal took his brother-in-law to the trauma center after arranging a vehicle immediately. Satish had sustained serious head injuries, due to which doctors declared him brought dead. As soon as the information was received, the Rampura police station reached the hospital and started the post-mortem process by taking possession of the dead body.

On the basis of the registration number of the vehicle, the search is on for the accused driver.
