Chandigarh Administrator BL Purohit flagging off the special buses going to religious places in Rajasthan.

Now people of tricity including Chandigarh will be able to visit famous religious places of Rajasthan by sitting in CTU buses. Today Chandigarh Administrator BL Purohit has started special bus service of CTU going to Rajasthan religious places. Under this, buses were flagged off today.

These include buses going to Khatu Shyamji of Sikar and Salasar Dham of Churu. Advisor to Administrator Dharam Pal, Deputy Commissioner Vinay Pratap Singh, Mayor Sarbjit Kaur etc. were present on the inauguration of this new route of buses. This step has been taken to increase the connectivity of CTU buses of Chandigarh with religious places of other states.

Let us inform that the Chandigarh Administration is going to restart its CTU buses on the long route which has been closed for many years. Recently, the administration had said that buses will also be started on the route which has been closed for 12 years. The old routes on which the department is preparing to start buses include the routes of Palampur, Gurdaspur Dera Baba Nanak, Uttarakhand Tanakpur and Rishikesh in Himachal Pradesh.

Let us inform that for the improvement of the transport system in the city, a survey was conducted by the Transport Department of the UT Administration. In this survey conducted by Sept University, many shortcomings of the transport system were revealed. In the report, the department was suggested to focus on all the routes, under which this effort is being made.
