According to the orders of Collector Somesh Mishra, to achieve the goal of village energy Swaraj, Gram Panchayats were selected and selected in the district, coordinating with various departments earmarked for non-conventional energy. District level committee has been constituted to prepare the projects of Gram Panchayats.
In which the collector will be the chairman and the officers of other departments have been decided. National target for inclusion of Renewable Energy Project towards achieving Gram Urja Swaraj for Rural Local Bodies to celebrate Amrit Mahotsav of Azadi is to be achieved.
In which 75 gram panchayats with a total renewable energy capacity of 100 MW by August 15, 2023, will take action as per the guidelines sent by the Ministry of Panchayati Raj, Government of India, to achieve the target.
