Putting to rest all the speculations going on in Dewas for the last four to five days, the BJP on Tuesday afternoon declared Geeta Durgesh Agarwal as the candidate for the post of mayor of the Municipal Corporation. Till a day earlier, the name of Pooja Ravi Jain was believed to be almost fixed, but at the last moment, instead of her, the party approved the name of Geeta Agarwal, wife of Durgesh Aggarwal, who is considered close to MLA Gayatri Raje Pawar.
