ASI’s body split into two pieces after being hit by a train.
An ASI posted in the Police Station Salem Tabri of Ludhiana, Punjab, died after being hit by a train near the Lakkar bridge. The incident is said to have happened around 1.30 am. As soon as the police personnel came under the grip of the train, the nearby people informed the control police. After the accident, the body of the ASI was divided into two pieces.

On knowing about the accident, the police of GRP police station reached the spot. It is being told that the police has taken the body in possession and sent it to the Civil Hospital for post-mortem. The police personnel who died have been identified as Jinder Kumar. He was recently posted in the police station Salem Tabri. The deceased is being told of a village near Hoshiarpur. On coming to know about the accident, other senior police officers also reached the spot. SHO of GRP police station Jaskaran Singh said that the dead body has been taken into custody. Let us tell you that this case is also suspicious because it is not yet known whether the policeman has committed suicide or his feet have slept in haste. The matter is in the attention of the higher officials of the police. Sources reveal that the ASI got a call from an officer after which he was a little upset. The truth will be known only after the investigation of the rest of the case. At present, the police has taken the dead body in possession and kept the body in the mortuary.
