Trauma center being built in Industrial Area Nalagarh.
CHC Nalagarh, the only major hospital in the industrial area Baddi-Barotiwala-Nalagarh, will no longer be called a referral hospital. Now there will be no need to send every case to PGI Chandigarh for the treatment of the injured in accidents, because the work of trauma center at the parking lot of Nalagarh hospital is going on at a cost of 62 lakhs, which will be completed by next month.
The construction work is being done by LNV. About 95% of the work has been completed. The remaining work will be handed over to the hospital administration. The operation theater of the trauma center being built at a cost of 62 lakhs will be 13.5 meters long and 10 meters wide. More than 70 people die and hundreds are injured in industrial accidents every year.
SDO Lonivi Raj Kumar Sharma informed that the construction work of trauma center is going on in the hospital premises at a cost of about 62 lakhs, which is nearing completion. After completing the finishing work of the center soon, it will be handed over to the hospital administration next month. After that the injured will get immediate treatment and no one will die.
