Early in the morning, a leopard attacked a dog in a field located on the outskirts of Jokhla village of Walia taluka, and the villagers ran and surrounded the leopard from all sides. However, the leopard escaped before the Vanavibha team arrived.
Attack on dogs
Since Walia-Netrang taluk is a forest area, many cases of wild animals being seen have come to light. Then, early today morning, Ratilal Jadiabhai, who lives in a farm on the outskirts of Jokhla village of Walia taluka, came to Vasavani wadi and attacked the dogs outside and dragged them to pieces. After this incident Ratilal Vasawa woke up and immediately informed the villagers, following which people from the surrounding villages rushed there and surrounded the leopard from all sides and informed the Walia Forest Department office.
The villagers are afraid
Beat Guard Surej Kurmi of Walia Forest Division and teams of Netrang Forest Division immediately rushed to the spot and conducted an exercise to capture the leopard. However, the leopard escaped from the sight of all the people. The forest department teams have set up two cages with antidote near the farm and on the outskirts of the village to catch the leopard. It is worth mentioning here that the villagers have become scared as soon as the leopards kill the dogs.
