A horrific theft incident has been carried out in a house near Tandbalidih State Sustainable High School under Jaridih police station area of Bokaro district. The criminals are absconding after breaking the almirah with jewelery and Rs 19 lakh. It has about Rs 13.5 lakh in cash. There are jewelery worth about 5.5 lakhs. This house belongs to a person named Somesh Mukherjee.
The family had gone to their ancestral residence at Dhadkia village under Kasmar police station area at 8:30 am on July 2. The family returned at around 9:00 pm. During this the lock of the main door of the house was broken. The thieves took away all the items by breaking the cupboard from inside the house. After this the police was informed about this.
After getting information about the incident, local people and police team reached the spot. The investigation of the matter has been started. Sanjay Singh, president of Jainamod Chamber of Commerce, has demanded the police to take prompt action in the matter. Earlier also attempts were made to rob homes in the area. So far no criminal has been arrested.
