Sidhu Moose Wala's father demands setting up of commission to probe security withdrawal, links of Punjabi film industry with underworld | Chandigarh News

BATHINDA: Late Punjabi singer Shubhdeep Singh Sidhu aka Sidhu Moose Wala‘s father Balkaur Singh has demanded to setting up a commission to investigate what led to pruning the security of his son and made it public.
He also demanded that action should be taken on those responsible for the serious lapse that snatched his son away from them.

It should be investigated why he was given security and then why it was withdrawn, he said.
He also demanded from chief minister Bhagwant Mann to investigate the links of Punjabi film industry with underworld and gangsters.
Without naming a singer, he said, calls Lawrance as his brother but saying fear for life and demanding security, it should be exposed. He also demanded to make efforts to deport gangster Satvinder Singh aka Goldy Brar from Canada and arrest him.

Balkaur Singh, while addressing hundreds of fans and followers of Sidhu Moosewala on Thursday evening, said that it should be investigated how weapons of over Rs 50 lakh were brought and how it was made possible with gangster lodged in high security Tihar Jail and giving dictations.
He also said authorities took note of the security concerns of Lawrance Bishnoi, and urged the supreme court to also take care of the security of common persons.
Balkaur Singh in a surcharged tone said that the authorities are concerned for danger to Lawrance Bishnoi and if you kill the sons of people like us then danger should be there for such people.

Earlier waiting for justice for the last three months, the family, fans and followers of the singer taken out massive candle march from grain market of Mansa to village Jawaharke where Moosewala was killed in the evening of May 29 and which turned out his ‘last ride’. Candles were lit at the killing spot.

A large number of followers participated in the march while holding photos of Sidhu Moosewala. The march was also taken out in the village from old home to the field where mortal remains were consigned to flames. The candle marches were also carried out across the states including in Haryana, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and some other places.
