A petition has been given by the Belimora Dalit Samaj to the Belimora Municipality in which it is clearly stated that a party plot is being constructed in front of the Belimora Jalaram Mandir by the Belimora Municipality. In which the contract of Mati Puran has been given to Nitin Kalasaria of Surat. Who has sub-contracted this Mati Puran to Harishbhai Aud, a member of Belimora municipality and leader of the ruling party. In this party plot, the soil used in the Purana, Harish Ode, placed the JCB in the age-old cremation ground of the Dalit community near the Ambika river and illegally excavated the soil.
The bones and skulls of the dead bodies of relatives buried in the cremation ground have come out. Seeing him dragging animals like dogs and pigs has hurt the sentiments of our society. The sentiments of the Dalit community have been greatly hurt when the remains of relatives who dug soil illegally for the municipality’s party plot in their own burial ground are coming out.
