Bilimora Municipality of Navsari district has constructed a bird house for public display, which after the Statue of Unity will be a center of attraction for the people of south Gujarat including Navsari.
The chirping of birds is believed to relieve a person from any tension, making this bird park a jewel in the pearl for the people of Belimora and Navsari. Recreational facilities are equally needed in the town apart from roads, keeping in mind the Belimora Municipality has constructed a state-of-the-art bird house near the Somnath Lake.
This board house has been constructed at a cost of thirty five lakh rupees from the grant allocated by the Finance Commission and the government in 14 in which foreign birds including parrots of various species have been brought.
Today, this board park was opened to the public on the vow of MLA Naresh Patel. If we look at the list of birds brought to this bird park, there are different species of sparrows like sparrow finch type, lavender wax bilzebra, finch bengoli, finch gouldian, finchstar finchii talian, finched velvet finch, Java sparrow, parakeet parrot.
