Demand for cages
Leopard sightings in the society have been claimed by locals more than once. Due to fear of leopard, old people, children are confined in the house and locals are demanding to cage the leopard as soon as possible. Residents are wearing choki
Talking to News18 Gujarati, a local resident told that a leopard has been seen in this place. So we have reported this to the police station as well. The leopard should not harm any innocent child or resident and it is appealed to be caged first. At present we are keeping vigil day and night.
A leopard was also seen on the Somnath-Porbandar highway
A few days ago, a leopard was spotted in Mangarol taluka of Junagadh district. A leopard was spotted near Mangarol on the Somnath-Porbandar highway around 1:30 pm. The entire incident was captured in CCTV cameras. The incident was near Millatnagar bypass in Mangarol. Incidents of leopards coming into residential areas near Udiabagh in Mangrol are frequent occurrences. The forest department has also been informed about this by the residents.
