King Charles wants his younger son Prince Harry to attend his coronation on May 6 this year, The Mirror reported adding that the royal family is rolling out incentives to Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle so that the couple attends the ceremony. The incentives include high-profile seating at the event and the promise to keep their Duke and Duchess of Sussex titles.

The offer of a “high-profile seating position” and an assurance that the titles can be kept is an “inducement” for the couple to attend, The Mail reported, saying, “Harry’s camp made clear that the idea that he would just attend the Coronation and behave himself but then be stripped of his titles was a total non-starter.”
The Sun, meanwhile, reported that various options seem to be on the table including Prince Harry attending the coronation without Meghan Markle. Under the plan, Prince Harry will make a brief appearance at the coronation before heading back to the United States where he lives with his wife since 2020.
