J&K cops get Indian, Israeli and German-built weapons to combat terror in Kashmir - report | Times Of Ahmedabad

In a first, the J&K police has inducted three state-of-the-art deadly weapons to combat terrorism. The police officers in the valley were given a high-tech, made-in-India Zen shootedge corner shot pistol. The weapon can facilitate shooting around corners and over walls without exposing the user to an anti-terrorist operation. Other weapons are Tavor X-95, an Israeli-built assault rifle, and Germany’s highly successful MP-5 rifle. A J&K police officer told PTI that modernising the force’s arsenal was necessary to meet and combat increased security and counterterrorism challenges. Watch this video to know more.
