In his first rally outside Telangana after K Chandrasekhar Rao‘s party went national and became the Bharath Rashtra Sanithi, KCR in Maharashtra’s Nanded said the time for a farmers’ government has come. In every election, only the public loses. “That’s why BRS’ slogan is Ab ki baar kisan sakar,” KCR who has been openly challenging the Modi government and pushing for a non-Congress opposition said.
The total policy of the BRS party is being framed under the guidance of experts from all fields apart from 50-60 retired IAS officers. “We will present our ideas in the form of a document soon. My next press meet will be in Delhi,” KCR said.
“The Congress and the BJP ruled India for 70 years out of the 75 years of Independence. Others came and went for a year or two. So these two parties are responsible for whatever we are suffering from. Congress and the BJP are the same. Same bhashanbaji. Tera Ambani toh mera Adani,” KCR said. Daughter and MLC Kavitha was also present.
“Make in India has been the much-touted scheme of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. This ‘Make in India’ has turned out to be ‘joke in India’. If Make in India had worked then there would not have been China bazaars in every town and village across the country. From the manjha of kites, firecrackers for Diwali, colours for Holi to diyas and Ganesh idols for Diwali and even our Tricolour, everything comes from China. Where has the Make-in-India gone? Why are there China baazars everywhere instead of Bharat baazars?” KCR said.
“Everywhere two states are fighting for river water — Punjab-Haryana over Sutlej, Odisha-Chhattisgarh over Mahanadi, Maharashtra, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh over Godavari, Karnataka-Tamil Nadu over Cauvery. Why? There is enough water in the country,” KCR said.
