No ‘apology’ from royal family to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle because… | World News | Times Of Ahmedabad

Following the release of his much-anticipated memoir Spare, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s rift with the royal family does not seem to end. Nearly a month after the book’s publication, Prince Harry’s “relationship with the royal family remains unchanged,” US weekly reported.

“No apology to Meghan [Markle] has been made by the Palace, which frustrates Harry,” the report said in reference to Prince Harry’s request that his wife receive an apology for the way she was treated.

“Nor has he received a personal apology,” it added.

“He was hoping his family, especially William, would lay their cards on the table and have an open conversation with him, but they haven’t made progress,” the outlet further reported.

But the report also said that the royal family will have to settle their differences ahead of King Charles’ May coronation, saying, “At this point, the royals can only move forward and come to some form of truce with Harry if everyone sits down and talks through their issues privately. Despite everything that’s happened, Harry does want his family in his life.”

In his memoir, Prince Harry wrote, “I sit here now in front of you asking for a family. Not an institution. I want a family. And I understand how that might be hard for them to be able to separate the two, but to me, everything that I’ve witnessed and experienced over the years, there has to be a separation.”
