India’s relief and rescue mission is currently underway in earthquake-ravaged Turkey. Along with NDRF personnel and doctors, India has also sent a dog squad all the way to Turkey. The 4-member dog squad is engaged in rescue operations along with NDRF personnel. The four labradors are named Romeo, Juliet, Honey, and Rambo. They are experts in sniffing and are able to locate items trapped under debris. On February 6, India launched “Operation Dost” in response to a series of massive earthquakes with magnitudes of 7.8, 7.6, and 6 that wreaked havoc in Turkey and Syria. Watch this video to know more.
