Iran and Russia are enhancing defence cooperation as the war in Ukraine completes a year. This has further angered the West which says Tehran has ‘crossed a red line’. A WSJ report says, Russia is moving forward with a plan to establish a factory in Iran to manufacture some 6000 Iranian drones every year. The report comes a day after the United States announced sanctions against 8 Iranians involved in drone manufacturing. Russia has been using deadly Shahed-style kamikaze drones to target Ukrainian infrastructure.
