Russian President Vladimir Putin’s troops in Ukraine have made big gains on the battlefield. Russia’s Wagner Mercenary Group has reportedly captured Yagidne Town, which is north of Bakhmut, where the most intense battle is underway. The capture of another region near Ukraine’s eastern city of Bakhmut is a big boost for the Russians, as it is the longest-running battle of Moscow’s year-long offensive.
