Jaishankar tells British FM ‘BBC must comply with rules’ at India-UK talks | Times Of Ahmedabad

Weeks after Income Tax department surveys at BBC offices in New Delhi and Mumbai, India and UK’s foreign ministers discussed the matter in a bilateral meeting. AN an interview to Reuters, UK Foreign secretary James Cleverly said that he has taken up the BBC tax searches with Indian External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar. Last month, I-T dept conducted survey operations at BBC offices in India for tax evasion.
