Mumbai: Vanchit Bahujan Aghadi chief Prakash Ambedkar has alleged that OBC leaders like Chhagan Bhujbal had sided with kamandal, a term used for Hindutva politics of the 1990s, when the Mandal commissionmade its recommendations. He said people started viewing reservation as the only solution due to erstwhile governments’ non-development policies. “OBC leaders like Bhujbal or [OBC Jan Morcha president] Prakash Shendge should not cross my path.You were with kamandal, opposing the demand for implementing recommendations of the Mandal commission.” pti
