Ahmedabad: The state education department has called 123 candidates on the waiting list to select their preferred locations for the appointment of vidya sahayak in primary schools. The candidates will remain present for district selection on November 28.
The department has appointed 2,600 vidya sahayaks in the state’s primary schools; however, 123 positions had remained vacant.These vacancies will be filled with the wait listed candidates.
The district selection process for the 2,600 candidates already selected has been completed. The education department had issued call letters to these candidates on November 21 and asked them to remain present on Tuesday.

The Union Public Service Commission has released the written results for UPSC NDA, NA II 2023. Candidates who participated in the National Defence Academy and Naval Academy Examination (II), 2023 can check and download the written results. The qualified candidates will have to appear for the interview round by the Services Selection Board (SSB) of the Ministry of Defence for Admission to Army, Navy and Air Force Wings of the National Defence Academy for the 152nd Course and for the 114th Indian Naval Academy Course (INAC). Candidates will have to register themselves online on the Indian Army Recruiting website within two weeks of the announcement of the written results. Applicants will also be required to submit original certificates of Age and Educational Qualification during the interview.
ED searches properties of Cong sibling candidates
Enforcement Directorate conducted searches on the properties of Congress leaders G Vivek and G Vinod, who are the wealthiest sibling-candidates in the November 30 assembly polls. Vivek is being investigated for FEMA violations, while Vinod is being scrutinized in money laundering cases related to alleged corruption in Hyderabad Cricket Association. The searches revealed unaccounted transactions worth crores. Telangana ACB has filed three chargesheets against Vinod.
