    21 ODI debutants for India since 2021: Full list of players who received India ODI caps recently

    The Indian Premier League (IPL), for all his glamour and charm, has become a factory that manufactures talent for the Indian cricket team.

    In the first ODI against South Africa at the Wanderers Stadium in Johannesburg, 22-year-old Sai Sudharsan made his ODI – and India – debut, becoming the 253rd Indian player to receive an ODI cap.

    The southpaw, who plays for Gujarat Titans (GT) in the IPL, marked his international debut with an unbeaten half-century, scoring 55 runs off just 43 balls to carry the Men in Blue over the finishing line with eight wickets in hand, chasing a modest 117-run target.

    As many as 21 players have received their ODI caps for India since the beginning of 2021. Let’s take a look at those players.

    Left-handed all-rounder Krunal Pandya and right-arm quick Prasidh Krishna were the first players to make their ODI debuts for India in 2021. Their debuts came against England at the Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Pune on March 23, 2021.
