JAIPUR: As the suspense over the chief minister’s name in Rajasthan lingers on, the newly elected BJP MLAs continued to flock to Jaipur on Tuesday to meet the probable CM contenders as well as state president C P Joshi and other senior leaders.
“The newly elected MLAs are not leaving any chance to meet the probable CM candidates in an apparent move to pitch their names for ministry berths,” said a source.
Senior leaders, including former CM Vasundhara RajeUnion minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, Joshi and state BJP in-charge Arun Singh, have been tight-lipped on the question of the next CM. However, sources in Raje’s office claimed 50-plus MLAs had visited her in the past two days. tnn
