No Powerball jackpot winners, but million-dollar ticket sold in N.J.

While no winning tickets were sold for Saturday’s $535 million Powerball jackpota ticket worth $1 million was sold in New Jerseyaccording to the Powerball website.

The winning numbers were 3, 9, 10, 20 and 62. The Powerball was 25with a Power Play of 3X.

A second $1 million ticket was sold in Wisconsin, the website noted.

The jackpot stands at $543 million for the next drawing on Monday night.

No one has hit the jackpot since Oct. 11 when a ticket worth $1.765 billion was bought in Frazier Park, California — about 70 miles north of Los Angeles. Since then, 27 drawings have been held without a top prize winner.

The odds of hitting the Powerball jackpot are 292,201,388 to 1. A player who buys a $2 ticket has about a 1 in 11,688,053 chance to match five numbers and win at least $1 million, while the odds are 913,129 to 1 to win a third prize of at least $50,000.

Powerball drawings are held each Monday, Wednesday and Saturday in 45 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
