Mumbai: Water supply to parts of Khar Danda, Chimbai and Dr Ambedkar Road in Khar was disrupted after a leakage in a 600mm diameter underground pipeline was detected on Thursday evening. Repair works were still in progress on Friday. The BMC said that the supply will be restored after completion of the repair works. tnn

Damaged pipeline disrupts water supply to Usgao
The water shortage in Usgao village was caused by a damaged conveying line from the Opa treatment plant. Repairs are underway and water supply is expected to resume by forenoon. The road widening project from Par-Khandepar to Shapur is being completed by MVR infraprojects. The pipeline was broken during digging for the service road, causing water to spray across the road. Water division engineers are supervising the repair work.
