Zoya Akhtar’s directorial The Archies marked the debut of three star kids – Suhana Khan, daughter of Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan, Agastya Nandagrandson of Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan, and son of Shweta Bachchan Nanda and Nikhil Nanda, and Khushi Kapoorson of Boney Kapoor and late Sridevi. The teen musical drama has now started streaming on OTT platform.

Recently, Amitabh Bachchan, who has been rooting for his grandson AgastyaNanda, took him to meet the sea of fans gathered outside the Big B’s residence.

Taking to his X handle, the Big B shared some pics and wrote, “T 4856 – Sunoo !!🌹”. In the pics, both Agastya and Big B could be seen waving to their fans. Take a look..

While on the movie, the teen flick has opened to mixed reviews from audience and critics alike.

Since its release, Suhana, Agastya and Khushi have been getting criticised for their acting skills and their performances in the film. While many social media users are trolling the star kids, Raveena Tandon recently found herself in hot water when netizens noticed that the actress liked a post trashing one of Agastya and Khushi’s scenes from The Archies with a caption that reads, ‘Acting died here.’
As soon as people started talking about Raveena dismissing the newcomers performances, she took to Twitter to clarify that the like was made in error while she was scrolling through random Instagram posts.
“Touch buttons and social media. A genuine mistake has been blown out of proportion. The like was made in error, and something that I was not even aware of that had been pressed by scrolling. I sincerely apologize for any inconvenience and hurt this may have caused,” Raveena said in her note.

The Archies, a coming-of-age musical, follows the lives of Archie, Betty, Veronica, Jughead, Reggie, Ethel and Dilton takes audiences to the fictional hilly town of Riverdale. The film explores friendship, freedom love, heartbreak and rebellion. It also stars Aditi Saigal aka Dot, Mihir Ahuja, Vedang Raina and Yuvraj Menda.
