Superstar Amitabh Bachchan’s first look teaser of the film ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ has been released. In this 1 minute teaser, Amitabh is seen in the role of Ashwatthama, the son of Guru Dronacharya.

In the teaser, Amitabh is seen talking to a child
‘I am Ashwatthama, son of Guru Drona’
In the teaser, Amitabh is seen talking to a small child, who asks him who he is. This child comes to Amitabh who is worshiping Lord Shiva and introduces himself.
He says I am Rai. who are you? Is this a temple? are you god
Answering that, Amitabh says- ‘Listen, my time has come. The time has come for my final battle. After this the child asks – who are you?
Then at the end of the teaser Amitabh says – ‘I am Ashwatthama, the son of Guru Drona, awaiting the 10th incarnation from the Dwapar Yuga.’

Amitabh looked young thanks to de-aging technology
The most special scene of this one-minute teaser is the one in which Amitabh Bachchan’s young look is shown. The scene is shot using de-aging technology.
From which it is clear that the story behind Amitabh’s character Ashwatthama will also be shown in the film.
While sharing this tweet on Monday, Amitabh shared his experience of working in this film.
Prabhas, Deepika and Kamal Haasan will also be seen
Apart from Amitabh, actors like Prabhas, Kamal Haasan, Deepika Padukone and Disha Patni will also be seen in the film. The makers had released the teaser of the film at the San Diego Comic Con held in America last year.
A new release date has not been announced yet
The film was supposed to release in multiple languages on May 9 this year but has been postponed. Although the makers are yet to announce its new release date, ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ is the most expensive film of the year made on a budget of Rs 600 crore. It is produced by the famous director of Telugu cinema, Nag Ashwin.
