Two films ‘Do Aur Do Pyaar’ and ‘LSD 2’ have been released at the box office this Friday. Their box office performance on the opening day was so poor that both the films combined could not even earn Rs 1 crore.
‘Do Aur Do Pyaar’ has released on a total of 814 screens
First let’s talk about ‘Do Aur Do Pyaar’ starring Vidya Balan, Prateek Gandhi, Ileana D’Cruz and Senthil. The film earned only 50 lakh rupees on its opening day. It was released on 543 screens in India and 271 screens overseas.
Vidya, Prateek Gandhi, Ileana and Senthil will be seen together for the first time in ‘Do Aur Do Pyaar’.
LSD-2 got only 5.48% occupancy
On the other hand, the earnings of Dibakar Banerjee’s film ‘LSD 2’ were also low. The film did a business of only 15 lakh rupees on the first day. The film is produced by Ekta Kapoor and stars Paritosh Tiwari, Bonita Rajpurohit and Abhinav Singh. The first day occupancy of the film was only 5.48%.

Film reviewer Taran Adarsh expressed his disappointment on the collections of both the films by tweeting. Taran wrote, ‘New Friday but same story again.. Drought continues.. #bollywood #boxoffice’ Apart from Taran, many other film critics have expressed disappointment over this weekend’s Bollywood collections. Before this, ‘Bade Mian Chhote Mian’ and ‘Meydan’, which were released last week, could not earn much at the box office.
There was a clash between ‘BMCM’ and ‘Meydan’ on the occasion of Eid. Due to which the films were damaged.
‘Bade Mian Chhote Mian’ and ‘Meydan’ together earned 2.85 crores
Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff starrer Bade Mian Chhote Mian has grossed more than both the films released this week. The film earned Rs 1 crore 40 lakh on its second Friday. Now its total collection at the Indian box office has reached 51 crore 30 lakh rupees.
While ‘Meydan’ did a business of 1 crore 45 lakh rupees on the second Friday. The film’s total Indian BO collection has reached Rs 29.80 crore.
