Actress Lara Dutta is in the limelight these days for her web series ‘Strategy: Balakot and Beyond’. The actress recently opened up about the molestation incident that happened to her during an interview. The actress said, ‘A boy pinched her waist at the music launch program of the film ‘Andaz’. However, then he was beaten a lot. Seeing this, Akshay Kumar got worried and pulled me out and said, ‘You are an actress, you can’t do this?’
Lara Dutta started her acting career with the film ‘Andaz’ with Akshay Kumar. Priyanka Chopra also acted in this film. Lara Dutta mentioned every incident during the music launch of the film. Lara Dutta said, ‘She went to Delhi for the music launch event of the film. During the music launch, a guy grabbed my hand and pinched my waist. I took that hand and pulled that man out of the crowd.’
Lara Dutta said, ‘When I grabbed his hand and pulled it out, he fell down. I was wearing a saree that time. I started hitting him. Seeing this, Akshay got worried and dragged me away. Akshay said, ‘What are you doing? You’re an actress, you can’t do that?’
On the work front, Lara Dutta will be seen in ‘Welcome to the Jungle’ alongside Akshay Kumar, Paresh Rawal, Sunil Shetty, Sanjay Dutt, Arshad Warsi, Raveena Tandon, Jacqueline and Disha Patani. Lara Dutta is also playing the role of Kaikeyi in Nitesh Tiwari’s film ‘Ramayana’.
