A new mythological show ‘Lakshmi Narayan – Sukh, Samarthya, Equilibrium’ is going to start soon on television. Actress Shivaya Pathania will be seen in the avatar of Lakshmi in this show. Actor Srikanth Dwivedi will be seen in the avatar of Narayana. The shooting of this show has started in Umargaon city of Gujarat.
The show is produced by Swastik Productions, known for producing successful mythological and historical shows.
During an exclusive conversation with Dainik Bhaskar, producer Siddharth Kumar Tiwari shared some interesting tidbits related to his show. Talking, he said that the show is an extended version of ‘Shiva Shakti-Tap Tyag Aur Tandav’. how? Let’s find out in his own words:
Personally I want every generation of the country to hear the methodological story I personally want every generation of our country to hear and understand the philosophical story. For the past 14 years I have been reading a lot about the mythology, culture and tradition of my country. When we were taking the story of ‘Shiva Shakti’ to the audience, I felt that along with the story of Shivaji and Parvati, the story of Lakshmi-Narayan should also be shown to the audience.
So far the story of Lakshmi Narayan has not been presented in front of any audience, further said, ‘No one has presented the story of Lakshmi-Narayan in front of the audience yet. I have been interested in his story for many years. When the channel came up with the idea of telling a bigger story than ‘Shiva-Shakti’, he agreed.
Both the shows have the same cast. We just made their world bigger. All these actors will be seen in both the shows. New story, with old cast.

My team and I do a lot of research before working on any show. We take most of the stories from the scriptures. However, the texts also have their own versions. Deciding which version fits our story is very challenging.
It is a huge responsibility to convey the mythology in the right way to the audience. We try to make this story relatable to today’s generation. Researching a story takes months. After this our real journey begins.
