Actress Parineeti Chopra said that she first met her husband Raghav Chadha during an award function in the UK. Before this she knew nothing about Raghav. The next day when they met again, in just 5 minutes of conversation, she realized that she would marry Raghav. Parineeti said that this was probably God’s voice. After this both started meeting frequently.

Parineeti was recently seen in the film ‘Amar Singh Chamkila’. Directed by Imtiaz Ali, she shared the screen with Diljit Dosanjh.

Parineeti initially knew nothing about Raghav
Recently in an interview with Ram Shamani, Parineeti talked about her love life. He said that he and Raghav first met at an award function in the UK. The award function was to honor achievers in various fields. The function honored Parineeti for entertainment and Raghav for politics.

Parineeti further said that she was going to meet Raghav for breakfast the next day. But before this she did not know anything about Raghav. Parineeti came to know about Raghav’s work when she read about it on Google.

He continued, ‘After this meeting, we started talking to each other and not even in a few weeks, but in a few days, we realized that we were just talking about getting married.’

​​​​​​​Parineeti also revealed that her mother used to say that when the right person comes in life, she will know by herself. She didn’t believe in these things though. She said, ‘Mother always told me that you will know your life partner when it comes to you. On this I used to say to my mother, please don’t recite the lines of this movie to me. Nothing like this happens.’

‘Now I swear, when I met Raghav, I knew within 5 minutes that I was going to marry this man.’

‘Parineeti further said that everyone was talking about different things at breakfast that day but after seeing Raghav I was thinking that I am going to marry this guy.’

He said, ‘It was God’s voice inside me and then we started talking. We were not even friends then. We never had an official dating period because we never really dated, but were busy planning our wedding. We just thought of meeting each other’s families.’
