A few days ago some pictures from the sets went viral. From the pictures, it was revealed that Arun Govil will be seen in the role of King Dasaratha in the film. While Lara Dutta has been cast in the role of Rani Kaikeyi.
Arun Govil was seen in the role of King Dasaratha. Two child actors are also seen with him. Sources claim that these two child actors are playing the childhood roles of Lord Rama and Lakshmana.
According to the information received from the sources, Lara Dutta is playing the character of Rani Kaikeyi. Lara was seen wearing a purple saree and gold jewellery.

Nitesh Tiwari did not like this incident on the set at all. In such a situation, he imposed a no-phone policy on the set after the incident. A source associated with the film told India Today that the director and his team had also instructed the extra staff and crew to stay off the sets when the shooting began. Only the necessary stars and technicians were asked to stay on set as per the scene. Everyone else was barred from entering.
After this incident, another news has also come out. The makers and their team decided that no actual footage of Ranbir should be leaked. For this reason, they were also considering having his body double on the sets.
The first schedule of the film has been shot before Ranbir’s shooting. In this schedule, the childhood shooting of Rama, Lakshmana, Shatrughan and Bharata has been completed. For this, the Gurukul set was built in Film City itself.
