The popular TV serial ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Oolta Chashma’ is always in the news. Now Gurucharan Singh, who played the character of Sodhi in this serial, has gone missing from Delhi. Gurucharan’s father Harjeet Singh has filed a missing complaint at Delhi Police Station.
He used to come from Delhi to Mumbai
Gurucharan Singh left for Mumbai from Delhi. However, he is neither in Delhi nor has he come home to Mumbai. After his son reached Mumbai, Gurucharan’s father filed a police complaint.
According to the police complaint, ‘My son Gurucharan Singh is 50 years old and he left for Mumbai airport at 8:30 am on April 22. He has not reached Mumbai nor has he come home. His phone doesn’t even ring. His mental condition is good. We searched for him, but now he is missing.’ It may be mentioned that Gurucharan was coming to Mumbai from where he was in Delhi. However, no one knows where the gravity that emerged on April 22 is now.
After leaving the serial in 2020, Gurucharan has not been seen in any other serial
The father has full faith in the police
Gurucharan’s father Harjit Singh, in a media interaction, said that the police officials are currently cooperating and have assured the family that they are investigating the case expeditiously. Harjeet Singh also said that the SHO (Station House Officer) had called and said that he would find the son soon. He hopes that gravity will be fine wherever it is. It may be mentioned that Gurucharan was reported missing on April 25, at Palam Village, South Delhi Police Station.
The mother fell ill after her son went missing
It was said that the mother had fallen ill due to the loss of gravity and was admitted to the hospital. Harjit said that his wife is currently at home and her health is stable. The current time is very difficult for the family, but they have full faith in God and the country’s judiciary.

Four days ago, Gurucharan posted a video on So.Media wishing his father a happy birthday. Gurucharan often posts videos on social media.
Had to testify in court in support of Jennifer
Jennifer filed a case of sexual harassment against serial producer Asit Modi. Jennifer said in an interview, ‘It was Gurucharan who saved me from Asit Modi’s misbehavior in Singapore. When Asit Modi tried to flirt with me, Gurucharan intervened and warned Asit Modi to stay away. He was aware of Asit Modi’s activities. In an interview, Gurucharan said about the reason for coming to Mumbai that when he got a lot of debt and people were reluctant to get the money back. He was not getting money from anywhere and that is why he came to Mumbai. After staying in Mumbai for six months, he got the role of Roshan Singh Sodhi in ‘Taarak Mehta..’ in 2008.
Left the show twice
Gurucharan joined the show from 2008. He left the show in 2013. Gurucharan rejoined the show in 2014 due to public demand. Gurucharan again left the show in 2020 after working for six years. Balwinder Singh Suri now plays the role of Roshan Singh in his place. After leaving the show, Gurucharan was not seen in any other serial. He said, ‘Look, my father was going to have a surgery at the time and that’s why I left the show, there were other things and I had to take care of that. Life had to move on and there were other reasons. However, he does not want to talk about it.’
