After firing outside Salman Khan’s house on Sunday morning, Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde reached actor Salman Khan’s house in Bandra. Shinde also met the actor’s father and famous screenwriter Salim Khan. Salim Khan said during a media interaction that the Chief Minister has assured him. He said, “What if someone gets hurt? There are no guarantees. The whole family is safe, which is good.” He said, ‘We have no fear. The date of death has been fixed. The Chief Minister told us that security will be provided and he will ensure that these threatening calls stop.’
After this when asked if the family has received any call for ransom? Jayaslim Khan said, “No, but such incidents are usually held for ransom. They may say the incident was about antelope but their motive is something else.”
The police immediately swung into action
Praising the police for quick action, Khan said, “Mumbai police acted swiftly and made immediate arrests.
Earlier, Eknath Shinde had talked about eliminating Lawrence Bishnoi while talking to reporters outside Salman Khan’s Galaxy apartment house.
The police arrested both the accused from Bhuj.

“No gangs or gang wars will be allowed. We will not allow this to happen. We will eliminate (Lawrence) Bishnoi,” he said.
After meeting Salman, Shinde said, “I have told Salman Khan that the government is with you. Both the accused have been arrested. They will be questioned. We will go to the root of the case. No one will be spared. Don’t target like this.”
Let’s know what was the whole incident
On April 14 at 5 am, firing took place in front of Salman Khan’s Galaxy apartment in Bandra. Two assailants on a bike fired 4 rounds. Salman was at his home at the time of the firing. After the incident, security was increased outside Salman’s house.
In the CCTV footage, it is seen that both the accused were wearing sports caps and had bags slung over their shoulders. In this footage, both are seen firing at Salman’s house. Khan received death threats from the Lawrence-Goldie Brar gang.
After the firing incident, Lawrence’s brother Anmol took responsibility for the incident in an online post. He called this incident a trailer and warned Salman. However, the police have not confirmed this post. Lawrence is currently in Tihar Jail accused of murdering several high-profile people.
Both the accused have been identified as Vicky Saheb Gupta and Sagar Srijogendra Pal. Both are residents of Bihar. The police have reached Mumbai with them. The police said that the pistol with which the two accused had fired had been thrown into the Tapi river in Surat. The Mumbai court has sent the two accused who fired outside actor Salman Khan’s house to 10-day police remand.
The bike was found a short distance from Salman’s house
The police also seized a bike of the accused. The bike was left near Mount Mary Church, one km away from Salman’s house. Police say that the bike was registered in the name of a person residing in Panvel. Panvel Assistant Commissioner of Police said that the man had sold the two-wheeler a few days back.
A 7.6 bore gun was fired
Mumbai Police sources said that the gun that was fired was a 7.6 bore gun. Forensic experts have recovered a live cartridge from the spot. The police also seized a bike of the accused.

Salman lives alone on the ground floor
Salman has been living in this house with his family for the last 40 years. Salman’s house is on the ground floor of the apartment. He lives here alone in a 1BHK L shaped apartment. His parents live on the first floor of an 8-storey Galaxy apartment.
Lawrence threatened Salman in March 2023
In March 2023, after receiving a threat from Lawrence, Salman Khan’s security was increased. He has got Y+ category security from Government of Maharashtra.
The NIA had said that Khan topped the list of 10 people who were threatened with death by jailed gangster Lawrence. The community is furious over the 1998 blackbuck poaching incident, citing which Lawrence threatened to kill Salman in a TV interview.

How many times have you received threats before?
- In June 2022, when Salman’s father Salim Khan, who was out for a morning walk, returned home, he received an unknown letter threatening to kill him and Salman. It was written in the letter – ‘Salman Khan we will make your condition like Moosewala.’ After this, Salim Khan contacted the police with the help of his security personnel and a case was registered in Bandra Police Station.
- Last year, the Mumbai police arrested a man who threatened to kill Salman by calling him. The person making the threat was a 16-year-old minor. He threatened the Mumbai Police through a call and revealed his name as Rokibhai. He said he was a resident of Jodhpur, Rajasthan and would kill Salman on April 30.
- Last year, Dhakdram, a resident of Jodhpur, sent 3 e-mails to Salman’s official mail. In which it was written that Salman Khan is your next number, you will be killed like Sidhu Moosewala on arrival in Jodhpur.
- In January 2024, two unknown people tried to enter Salman Khan’s farm house by breaking the fencing wire. After being caught by the police, both of them declared themselves as fans of Salman. A fake Aadhaar card was recovered from him. Due to this, an FIR has also been registered against both of them. Salman Khan is targeted by the Lawrence gang.
After the incident, Arbaaz Khan also reached Galaxy Apartment with his wife Shoora.
