In the case of the firing that took place at Salman Khan’s Galaxy apartment in Bandra West, Mumbai on Sunday morning, the police have now got concrete information about the shooter and who did it. Anmol Bishnoi, Goldie Brar and Rohit Godara of the Lawrence gang have claimed responsibility for the firing. The shooter who opened fire outside Salman’s house is Vishal alias Kalu, who belongs to the Rohit Godara gang.

Pictures of the two attackers who opened fire outside Salman’s house surfaced on Sunday. The attacker is seen in a black and white T-shirt. While the other is in a red T-shirt. Along with this, CCTV footage from 29 February 2024 has also surfaced which is a dhaba in Rohtak, Haryana.
The face of Kalu, the shooter seen in the match, matches the face of the man seen in the CCTV footage in front of Salman’s house in Mumbai. Kalu aka Vishal Rahul is likely to have fired outside Salman Khan’s house.

Anmol Bishnoi took responsibility through a Facebook post
Earlier on Sunday, in a Facebook post, US-based gangster Anmol Bishnoi confessed that the firing at Salman Khan’s house was done by the Lawrence Bishnoi gang due to an old enmity. Initially, even the police did not take this Facebook post seriously, but the entire incident became clear when the faces of the shooters were revealed through CCTV footage.
Who is Vishal Rahul aka Kalu?
Kalu is the special shooter of Rohit Godara, a notorious gangster of Rajasthan. Rohit Godara is associated with the Lawrence gang. Kalu recently killed Rohtak’s Sachin Goda, whose CCTV footage and a post claiming responsibility for the murder were also released on social media. A resident of Gurugram, Kalu has studied up to 10th standard. Several criminal cases like firing and bike theft have been registered against him.
According to the family, Vishal alias Kalu last came home in the month of February.
Case transferred to Mumbai Crime Branch
Meanwhile, the case was transferred to the Mumbai Crime Branch on Monday. 10 teams of crime branch are busy investigating the case. Police have examined more than two dozen CCTV footages in this case.
Caught a slow local to Borivali after the firing
According to several media reports, the two shooters caught a Borivali-bound slow local from Platform No. 1 of Bandra station after opening fire outside Salman’s house, according to the police. The bike used in the firing was found by the police near Mount Mary Church, one kilometer from Salman’s house. The accused bought the bike a few days ago from a showroom in Raigad.
The police have so far examined more than two dozen CCTVs in this case. In the CCTV, both the attackers are seen firing.

Many family members including Salman’s brothers Sohail and Arbaaz arrived at the Galaxy apartment to meet him on Sunday.
Salman lives alone on the ground floor
Salman has been living in this house with his family for the last 40 years. Salman’s house is on the ground floor of the apartment. He lives here alone in a 1BHK L shaped apartment. His parents live on the first floor of an 8-storey Galaxy apartment.

Lawrence Bishnoi threatened Salman in March 2023
In March 2023, Salman Khan’s security was increased after receiving a threat from Lawrence Bishnoi. He has got Y+ category security from Government of Maharashtra. The NIA said Khan topped the list of 10 people who were threatened with death by jailed gangster Lawrence Bishnoi. The Bishnoi community is angry over the 1998 blackbuck poaching incident, citing which Lawrence threatened to kill Salman in a TV interview.
Following the threat, Y+ remains with security and 11 soldiers
Earlier, Maharashtra Police personnel lived with Salman, but he has been given Y+ category security after receiving threats. In this security circle, 11 soldiers stay with Salman all the time, including one or two commandos and 2 PSOs. There are always two vehicles to keep Salman’s vehicle in front and behind. Along with this, Salman’s car is also completely bulletproof.

How many times have you received threats before?
- In June 2022, when Salman’s father Salim Khan, who was out for a morning walk, returned home, he received an unknown letter threatening to kill him and Salman. It was written in the letter – ‘Salman Khan your condition will be reduced to Musewala.’ After this, Salim Khan contacted the police with the help of his security personnel and a case was registered in this regard at the Bandra Police Station.
- Last year, the Mumbai police arrested a man who threatened to kill Salman by calling him. The person making the threat was a 16-year-old minor. He threatened the Mumbai Police through a call and revealed his name as Rocky Bhai. He said he was a resident of Jodhpur, Rajasthan and would kill Salman on April 30.
- Last year, Dhakdaram, a resident of Jodhpur, sent 3 e-mails to Salman’s official mail. It was written that Salman Khan is now your number, as soon as you come to Jodhpur you will be killed like Sidhu Moosewala.
- In January 2024, two unknown people tried to enter Salman Khan’s farm house by breaking the fencing wire. After being caught by the police, both of them declared themselves as fans of Salman. A fake Aadhaar card was recovered from him. Due to this, an FIR has also been registered against both of them. Salman Khan is targeted by the Lawrence gang.
‘Sikandar’ will release on Eid next year
Salman Khan recently announced his upcoming film ‘Sikandar’ on the occasion of Eid. The film is directed by South’s famous director A. R. Murugadoss, who has previously directed Hindi films like ‘Gajni’, ‘Holiday’ and ‘Akira’, will direct. Sajid Nadiadwala will be its producer. With producer Sajid Nadiadwala, Salman has given many hits including ‘Judwaa’, ‘Muzse Shaadi Karogi’ and ‘Kick’.
