On Thursday, The Academy gave a special mention to her song ‘Ghar More Pardesiya’ from the movie ‘Kalank.’ Amid this, a fan’s appreciation for Alia’s acting prowess across all her movies garnered attention, with The Academy’s response stealing the hearts of netizens everywhere.
The Instagram account of The Academy recently shared a video of the famous song ‘Ghar More Pardesiya’ performed by Alia Bhatt in the movie ‘Kalank’ on their platform. In the comments section of the post, one fan stated, “Alia bhatt’s performance has been spectacular in every movie she’s done.” The Academy responded to this praise and replied, “Out of all the languages you could’ve spoken, you chose to speak facts.”

In the song ‘Ghar More Pardesiya,’ Alia Bhatt displayed her Kathak skills and was joined by the legendary actress Madhuri Dixit Nene for the dance. Before the song’s release in 2019, Alia took to Instagram to share her feelings in a heartfelt note, she shared, “A song that gave me sleepless nights, days & months is coming very very soon.. I think you can safely say that I have never been SO nervous for anything in my life.. *screams frantically and hides under bed* You may have to send a search party to find me.”
On the work front, Alia wrapped up filming for her action thriller ‘Jigra’ earlier this year, directed by Vasan Bala, marking the next project under her production house, Eternal Sunshine Productions, with backing from Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions.
