'Footprint in many deals': No bail for Lalu aide in land-for-job case

NEW DELHI: Dismissing a regular bail application by businessman What with Katyawho is a chargesheeted accused in the land-for-job casea Delhi court has observed that Katyal is a long-time associate of RJD chief Lalu Prasad’s family and his footprint is spread across multiple transactions and companies wherein the family of the latter is also “omnipresent”, reported.
“Considering his multi-layered association with suspicious transactions… the court is unable to conclude that the applicant shall not commit any offence if admitted to bail,” special judge Vishal Gogne said.
