Prime Minister Narendra Modi has reached Italy for the G7 Summit. His plane landed at Brindisi Airport in Apulia at 3:30 pm. Here he will meet many world leaders including Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, US President Joe Biden and Ukrainian President Zelensky. This is Narendra Modi’s first foreign trip after becoming the Prime Minister of India for the third time.

What is the G7 organization?
Formed in 1975, this organization is a group of the world’s richest countries. Which includes America, Japan, Germany, Britain, France, Italy and Canada. These countries discuss important world issues at the summit every year. The last G7 summit was held in Japan.

According to the New York Times, this time the agenda of the G7 countries is Russia-Ukraine and Israel-Hamas war. US President Joe Biden is set to sign a 10-year security agreement with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. This agreement will play an important role in the war against Russia.
On one hand, Western countries are uniting against Russia in Italy, on the other hand, Russia’s nuclear submarines have reached the Havana Harbor of America’s neighboring country, Cuba, for maneuvers. This place is only 367 km away from Miami, USA.
This is not the first time that this organization has invited India as a guest. India participated in this summit for the first time in 2003. For this the then Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee went to France.

Western countries will give a loan of 50 billion dollars to Ukraine
At the same time, most of the attention at the summit will be on Russia. Zelensky has also reached Italy for this. In the G7 summit, Western countries have announced a loan of 50 billion dollars, i.e. 41 lakh crore rupees, to Ukraine.
The loan will be repaid from $200 billion in Russian assets seized in Western countries. Britain has announced new sanctions on Russia, including on Moscow’s stock exchange. It has embargoed Russian ships.
