The summer heat begins to be felt and in July, there are everything from jaripeo, comedy shows, festivals and concerts. This is a selection of the events that will make Chicago stand out.

Bolero with Angela Aguilar: Special presentation of the documentary “Bolero de Angela Aguilar,” who will be present to share her experiences and the process of creating it. The evening will begin with comments from Angela Aguilar, a Q&A session, and will continue with the screening of the documentary. Chuy Lizárraga, Régulo Caro and Noel Torres: Dance and jaripeo where the bands Corona del Rey and La Única del Rancho will also perform and jaripeo with the “Los Destructores” cattle ranch of Memo Campos. July 28, 12 pm, Plaza Garibaldi, 26th and California Streets. $60+. eventmania.com.
