Goenka well located on Fatehpur Road in Mandawa, Harlalka and Kedarmal Ladia well in ward four, Shambhu Khan’s well in ward five, Sarafa well near the old hospital, Sneh Ram Ladia well in ward seven and Manji Saheb’s well in ward 15 have now become tourist spots. Tourists come from far and wide to see them.

Considering the heritage of Mandawa, which is situated amidst sandy dunes, this village gradually started becoming popular as a tourist destination. As soon as the foreign tourists along with the locals set foot here, tourism here started growing rapidly. Many old havelis were converted into hotels. Havelis were not demolished to build hotels here, but they were developed in their original form. Today this village has been converted into a town.

Today Mandawa’s economy is more dependent on the tourism business than agriculture.
