Why is Obama not supporting Harris?
According to the New York Post, a source close to the Biden family said, “Obama is very upset because he knows she (Kamala Harris) cannot win.” It also said that “Obama knows she is incompetent. She is not prepared to deal with the challenges that lie ahead.”

After this, Biden suddenly announced his withdrawal from the presidential election and immediately announced his support for Harris, which surprised Obama. According to the post, Obama was actually going to support Arizona Senator Mark Kelly after Biden. Meanwhile, Kamala Harris on Monday secured the support of a majority of the delegates to the Democratic National Convention, ensuring that she will become the party’s candidate for the presidency next month. A survey showed that Harris had the support of 2,538 delegates, far more than the 1,976 needed to win the delegates’ vote in the coming weeks. Democratic National Committee Chairman Jaime Harrison said on Monday that the party would declare a presidential candidate by August 7. Delegates could still change their minds before August 7.
