Patna. A big reversal was seen in Bihar BJP on Thursday night. BJP removed state president Samrat Chaudhary and handed over the command of the state to Dilip Jaiswal. The central leadership removed Samrat Chaudhary from the post of state president within a year. Dilip Jaiswal is currently the Minister of Land Reforms and Revenue in the Nitish government. By making Jaiswal the state president, the central leadership of BJP has given him a big responsibility before the assembly elections to be held in the state next year. Jaiswal comes from the Vaishya community. He has a good political hold in Seemanchal. He is a member of the Bihar Legislative Council.

Jaiswal, originally from Khagaria district, is a member of the Legislative Council for the third time. He has also been the treasurer of Bihar State BJP. He has also worked as the chairman of Bihar State Bhandara Nigam from 2005 to 2008.

Dilip Jaiswal said, ‘I have received information from the media that the national leadership has given me the responsibility of Bihar BJP President. I express my gratitude to the leadership. My only priority will be to strengthen the organization. While giving respect to the workers, a strong NDA government should be formed in the state in the upcoming 2025 assembly elections.’

‘The one who tried to tie Keshav, he himself…’ BJP MLA came out in support of Keshav Maurya, also spoke on CM Yogi

Regarding the roadmap, Jaiswal said, ‘I have to carry forward the path shown by the senior leaders of the party including former Bihar BJP president Samrat Chaudhary, their management, and their thinking and make the party strong. I have to give respect to the workers.’
