PM Modi G-7 Meet: Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived on Friday to attend the G7 summit at the invitation of his Italian counterpart Giordano Meloni. This is his first foreign visit after becoming Prime Minister for the third time this month. He participated in a session organized by Meloni focusing on Artificial Intelligence (AI), Energy, Africa and the Mediterranean region.

PM Modi said in the session that we have to make technology constructive, not disruptive. Only then will we be able to lay the foundation of an inclusive society. Let us tell you that India has always been striving for a better future through a human-centric approach. India is among the first few countries to prepare a national strategy for artificial intelligence. During this, PM Modi also remembered the 18th democracy in the country.

The public has given us a chance for the third time
PM Modi said, ‘India’s election is a big festival of democracy. The public has given me a chance to serve for the third time. This is the first time in 6 decades that someone has received the mandate for the third consecutive time.’ While speaking at the conference, PM Modi said that building a developed India is our resolution. While talking about participating in the G-7 and the problems of Global South Asia, the PM said that dialogue and cooperation with the G7 will continue.

It is important that AI remains transparent, safe, accessible and responsible.’

During his address at the G-7 Summit, PM Modi said that as far as energy is concerned, India’s approach is based on availability, access, affordability and acceptability. We are working to fulfill our CoP commitments before the stipulated time period. India is working to usher in a green era based on the principles of Mission Life. The PM also highlighted the “Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam” campaign to make our planet more sustainable.
