The film was the story of 7 brothers, in which Amitabh Bachchan played a double role. Hema Malini was opposite Amitabh. Sachin Pilgaonkar, Sudhir, Shakti Kapoor, Kanwarjit Paintal, Kanwaljit Singh and Vikram Sahu played the role of brothers. Apart from this, Ranjeeta Kaur and Amjad Khan also played important roles in the film.
