Washington: In the meeting of NATO i.e. North Atlantic Treaty Organization in America, President Joe Biden has warned the member countries. In the meeting held on the 75th anniversary of NATO amid the Russia-Ukraine war, Biden clearly said that Russia is failing in the Ukraine war. Member countries should not make any mistake on their part. He shared data on the losses suffered by Russia in the Ukraine war and tried to tease Putin. US President Joe Biden made a historic announcement to donate air-defense equipment to Ukraine.

Biden welcomed the leaders of NATO member countries at the summit organized on the 75th anniversary of NATO or North Atlantic Treaty Organization. During this, Joe Biden said that the US, Germany, Netherlands, Romania and Italy will provide five additional, strategically important air-defense systems to Ukraine. He said that the US and its partners plan to provide several additional air-defense systems to Ukraine in the coming months. He said that the US will ensure that Ukraine is on the front line when we send important air-defense systems.

US President Joe Biden said, ‘Make no mistake, Russia is failing in this war. It has been more than two years since Russian President Vladimir Putin opted for war, his losses are staggering. More than 3,50,000 Russian soldiers have been killed or injured. Nearly 1 million Russian citizens, many of them young people, have left Russia because they see no future in their country.’ The US President said, ‘We know Putin will not stop in Ukraine. But make no mistake, Ukraine can and will stop Putin.’

At the same time, NATO Secretary General James Stoltenberg said that there is no option in which there is no cost to deal with Russia as a neighbor. He said, ‘There is no risk-free option in any war. And remember – the biggest cost and the biggest danger will be if Russia wins in Ukraine. We cannot let this happen. This will not only boost the morale of President Putin but it will also encourage other autocratic leaders in Iran, North Korea and China.’ Biden honored Stoltenberg with America’s highest civilian honor ‘Presidential Medal of Freedom’ for his decade of service as the top post of the NATO alliance.
