Delhi Airport. A person who came from abroad had to pay a heavy price for his bad gait. The incident took place at Indira Gandhi International Airport in Delhi. This person who was taken into custody due to his bad gait was first searched at the airport and then questioned for a long time. During the interrogation, some things came to light, on the basis of which this person has finally been arrested. The arrested accused has been identified as Adil. He is an Indian citizen, currently living in Riyadh.

According to the career officer of Air Customs Preventive, the accused had reached IGI Airport from Riyadh via Bahrain by Gulf Air flight GF-134. As soon as the accused took his luggage from the baggage belt and moved forward, the eyes of the officers of Air Customs Preventive were fixed on him. Actually, the eyes of these Customs officers were fixed on the feet of the accused. Not only did the gait of the accused seem different from the normal, but there was also a lot of difference in the rhythm of both the feet.

Seeing this unusual behavior of the accused, the customs officers’ suspicion deepened. They kept an eye on the accused until he crossed the green channel. As soon as he crossed the green channel, the customs officers stopped him. First, he was asked casually if he had anything that he had not declared. As soon as he shook his head in denial, the customs officers called the accused aside for a search. During this, as soon as the accused’s socks came off, everyone’s eyes lit up.

This special thing came out from Adil’s socks
According to a senior customs official, as soon as the accused’s socks were removed, items tied with medical tape were seen on his feet. Investigation revealed that the gold was converted into chemical paste and wrapped in plastic polythene. After this, this wrapping was tied to the feet with medical paste. He said that a total of 969 grams of gold has been recovered from the accused. Its price in the Indian market has been estimated to be around Rs 6138310. After this recovery from the accused, a long series of interrogation took place.

These things were revealed during the customs interrogation
According to the Joint Commissioner of Customs, during interrogation the accused confessed his crime. He told that he was used as a courier man for smuggling gold. This gold was handed over to him by a local citizen at his house in Riyadh. He had to deliver this gold safely outside the airport. After reaching outside the airport, the receiver was going to contact him by phone. After the accused’s revelation, the customs confiscated the recovered gold and arrested the accused under section 104 of the Customs Act.
