Israel gave a befitting reply to Maldives' ban, told its citizens to visit Lakshadweep

Tel Aviv. Israel has given a befitting reply to Maldives. After the Maldives government announced a ban on Israelis in the Indian Ocean archipelago, the Israeli embassy in India on Monday told its citizens to go to the beaches in India instead of visiting Maldives. In fact, Maldives President Mohammad Muizzu has “resolved to ban people with Israeli passports from entering his country”. However, the government did not say when this will come into effect.

The Israeli embassy said in a post, “While the Maldives is no longer welcoming Israelis, here are some beautiful and amazing Indian beaches where Israeli tourists are not only warmly welcomed but also treated with utmost hospitality. Check out these suggestions (from the Israeli Embassy in India) based on the places visited by our diplomats.”
