When we talk about sugar, only the sugar used at home comes to mind. Whereas the National Sugar Institute of Kanpur is teaching its students to make 38 types of sugar. Not only this, this institute is also working on providing technical help to the industries related to the sugar industry in preparing sugar and how the industry can be promoted. Now many types of sugar are being produced by the sugar industry. Which mainly includes cube sugar, beverage sugar, playworld sugar, icing sugar, pharmaceutical sugar, healthy sugar, white sugar, raw sugar, candy sugar, refined sugar. Apart from these, research is also being done to make many other types of sugar according to the use. Professor Narendra Mohan, Director of the National Sugar Institute, said that now the sugar industry is progressing a lot. Many techniques are being used in it. The National Sugar Institute in Kanpur is teaching its students the technique of making 38 types of sugar.

Along with technology, emphasis is also being given on packaging
The Corona period has brought many changes in people’s lives. Similarly, many changes have also come in the industry. Now people are preferring packaged items over open items. That is why now people are demanding more packaged sugar. In view of this, students in the institute are being taught the technology of making sugar as well as packaging. Students will be taught as practical work how they can package sugar. Director Professor Narendra Mohan said that the aim of his institute is that when the students leave from here after studying, they should have every small and big information related to this industry.
